Casa Marea

Casa Marea was a smooth build overall, with a permitting issue creating an unexpected 60-day delay. Navigating local government in Mexico requires patience and persistence, particularly as requirements and personnel change, but we believe doing things properly is never something to compromise. We worked through the process, found the right people, and ultimately secured the necessary approvals without cutting corners. For us, respecting local zoning and building requirements is about more than protecting the investment—it’s about contributing responsibly to the character and long-term future of Sayulita.
